Sulaiman Al Habib Group’s net profit rises 29% to SAR 319 mln in Q1 2021

Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group (HMG) posted a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 319 million in Q1 2021, a rise of 29.3%, from SAR 246.6 million in the year-earlier period.

 

The earnings increase was driven by revenue growth in the hospital segment, due to the increase in numbers of patients and inpatient occupancy. Hospital segment growth was positively reflected in the increase in pharmacy segment revenue as well, in addition to the increase in the company’s solutions segment revenue, compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Shareholders’ equity, excluding minority interest, rose 8.15% to SAR 5.01 billion in Q1 2021, from SAR 4.63 billion in the same period last year.
