Methanol Chemicals Co. (Chemanol) narrowed its first half net loss to SAR 34.9 million from SAR 36.7 million in the same period last year.  The decrease in loss was attributed to the final insurance claim settlement on the Paraformaldhyde plant's limited fire of Q3-2014.

 

The continuing losses were attributed to lower sale prices of major products, and fluctuating oil prices.
