Al Ahsa Development posts SAR 5 mln profit in H1 2019

Al Ahsa Development Co. reported a net profit after zakat and tax of SAR 5.4 million for H1 2019 compared to a net loss of SAR 943,211 a year earlier.

 

The results were bolstered by higher sales, gross profit and other income along with a decline in the cost of sales, selling and distribution expenses.

In Q2 2019, net profit after zakat and tax more than doubled YoY to SAR 2.98 million on a rise in revenue, other income and profit from affiliates amid a decline in zakat expenses. 

 

When compared to the previous quarter, net profit jumped 24.3 percent.
