Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff Co. (SADAFCO) reported a net profit of SAR 159.6 million for the six months ended Sept. 30, 2016; a 42 percent year-on-year (YoY) increase. The increase was attributed to lower cost of sales that offset the increase in selling & distribution expenses and general & administrative expenses.

Net profit for the second quarter grew to SAR 73.5 million, 36 percent higher compared to the same period last year but dropped 14.7 percent compared to the previous quarter on higher input costs and lower sales.
