Emaar EC trims 2021 loss to SAR 827.4 mln; Q4 at SAR 282.6 mln

Emaar The Economic City (Emaar EC) narrowed its loss after Zakat and tax to SAR 827.4 million in 2021, compared to SAR 1.248 billion a year earlier.

This was driven by a drop in the projects’ gross loss by SAR 48.6 million, a decline in financial charges by SAR 72 million and a slump in impairment loss by SAR 106 million.  

 

Q4 2021 net loss reached SAR 282.6 million, compared to SAR 574.6 million in Q4 2020.

 

Sequentially, Q4 net loss widened from SAR 172.77 million in Q3 2021.
