SIIG’s H1 profit slightly down to SAR 465 mln

Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SIIG) reported a net profit of SAR 465 million for H1-2015, a 1.3 percent drop compared to the same period last year. The decline was mainly attributed to lower selling prices, as well as construction and maintenance at some of its plants.

The diversified chemical producer reported a net profit of SAR 339 million in Q2, a 61.4 percent increase compared to the same quarter last year; and 169 percent higher compared to the previous quarter (Q1-2015) on an increased share of Petrochem’s results, which were SAR 99 million. Petchem is a subsidiary of SIIG.
