Knowledge Economic City’s (KEC) net losses widened to SAR 38.7 million in H1 2024 from SAR 11.9 million in the year-earlier period.

This was attributed to weak sales compared with a year earlier on completing the sale of all units available for sale related to one of the company's projects. The company also cited higher operating expenses.

 

Net losses also deepened in Q2 2024 to SAR 25.1 million from SAR 1.5 million in the year-earlier period, mainly due to lower sales and higher operating expenses.

 

On a sequential basis, Q2 2024 net loss grew by 84.9% from SAR 13.5 million in Q1 2024.
