Fitaihi Group swings to profit in H1

Fitaihi Holding Group reported a net profit of SAR 25 million for the first half of this year, compared to a net loss of about SAR 3.9 million in the year-before period, mainly due to an increase in profits from investments, higher profits from affiliate, a decrease in expenses, lower provisions and zakat, and a decrease in rights of minority stockholders.

The company’s net profit for the second quarter halved to SAR 13.1 million on lower sales, lower gross profit margins, and a decrease in profits from investments.

 

However, on a quarterly basis, net profit in Q2 rose 9.8 percent compared to the previous quarter.
