BCI net profit surges to SAR 48.1 mln in 9M 2022, Q3 at SAR 17.7 mln

Basic Chemical Industries Co. (BCI) reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 48.1 million in the first nine months of 2022, a sharp rise compared to SAR 20.6 million in the year-ago period.

In Q3 2022, the net profit after Zakat and tax more than tripled to SAR 17.7 million, from SAR 5.1 million in the year before.

Sequentially the company’s net profit rose 36% from SAR 13 million in Q2 2022.

Shareholders’ equity, excluding minority interest, grew to SAR 618.38 million as of Sept. 30, 2022, from SAR 570.15 million in the year-earlier period.
