Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.7%, or 80 points, higher at 12,297 points today, Aug. 8.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 6.3 billion.
Saudi National Bank rose 2% to close at SAR 72.80.
Riyad Bank, Bank Albilad, Banque Saudi Fransi, SABB, SABIC, Alinma Bank, SABIC Agri-Nutrients, Maaden and Dar Al Arkan increased between 1% and 3%.
MEPCO recorded the highest closing since listing at SAR 65.30 (+3%) amid active trading of about 850,000 shares. The company’s Q2 2022 profit reached SAR 99.2 million, up 130% year-on-year.
SIECO topped the gainers, closing at 47.40 amid trading of about 6.5 million shares.
