Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.4%, or 42 points, higher at 10,290 points today, Dec. 15.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 6.7 billion.
Global index provider FTSE Russell announced changes to Saudi Arabia Free Index Series, which will take effect on Dec. 19.
The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) raised its reverse repo rate by 50 basis points (bps) to 450 bps from 400 bps (4.5%). It also hiked its repo rate by 50 bps to 500 bps (5%) from 450 bps.
Saudi National Bank increased 1% to SAR 49.45.
Elm, ACWA Power, solutions, SIIG, Alujain, Mouwasat, Al Othaim Markets, Retal, Tasnee and Tadawul Group rose between 3% and 6%.
Saudi Aramco rose by less than 1% to SAR 31.05.
Nama Chemicals jumped 9% to SAR 36.90.
