Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 1%, or 118 points, lower at 11,230 points today, May 15.
Total turnover reached nearly SAR 6.3 billion.
Aramco, Al Rajhi Bank, SABIC and Saudi National Bank fell between 1% and 3%.
Alamar declined 5% to SAR 128.20. The company’s net profit slumped 66% to SAR 14.5 million in Q1 2023 from SAR 43.2 million a year earlier.
Al Yamamah Steel slipped 2%. The steel producer swung to a net loss of SAR 17.89 million in the second quarter ended March 31, 2023, from a profit of SAR 35.16 million a year earlier.

On the other hand, Saudi German Health went limit up to close at SAR 45.95 with nearly two million shares traded. The company’s Q1 2023 net profit more than doubled to SAR 50.1 million, compared to SAR 20.5 million in the year before.
Care, Shaker, Tawuniya, Leejam, Abo Moati and Bupa Arabia rose between 4% and 5%.
