TASI falls slightly to 11,342 points, turnover at SAR 4.8 bln

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed marginally lower at 11,342 points (-3 points) today, May 21.

Total turnover reached almost SAR 4.8 billion.

Al Rajhi Bank declined by less than 1% to SAR 74.70.

Bupa Arabia, Bank Albilad, Advanced, Tawuniya, Sipchem, SRMG and Etihad Etisalat fell between 1% and 4%.

2P and Alandalus closed at SAR 224.20 (-4%) and SAR 18.60 (-1%) after Q1 2023 results came below average market estimates.

MEPCO fell by 5% after recording losses of SAR 6.6 million in Q1 2023.

Farm Superstores closed at SAR 27 (-4%) following the end of the eligibility for cash dividends.

On the other hand, Saudi German Health, SPIMACO and Care went almost limit up.

ACIG rose 6% to SAR16.02 amid trading of about 2.4 million shares. The company’s board recommended a stock split.
