Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 1.2%, or 141 points, higher at 11,543 points today, Dec. 14.
Total turnover reached almost SAR 5.2 billion.
Global index provider FTSE Russell implemented the changes announced as part of its semi-annual index review today, which will be effective as of Dec. 18.
Bank Albilad went limit up to close at SAR 41.45, with about 6 million shares worth SAR 255 million traded.
Al Rajhi Bank rose 4% to SAR 83.20, as nearly 11 million shares changed hands.
Saudi National Bank, SRMG, Al Arkan, SHL, Bank AlJazira, Banque Saudi Fransi, Riyad Bank, and SAIB increased between 2% and 5%.
