Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.5%, or 58 points, higher at 11,601 points today, Dec. 17, recording the highest close since August 2023.
Total turnover reached almost SAR 4.5 billion.
Maaden rose 3% to SAR 41.30.
ACWA Power hit an all-time high at SAR 258 (+1%), with nearly 240,00 shares traded.
Banque Saudi Fransi, Saudi Awwal Bank, SABIC, stc, Elm, Almarai and Bank AlJazira increased between 1% and 3%.
SACO went limit up to close at SAR 32.90, amid nearly 900,000 shares changing hands.
Al-Jouf Agricultural rose more than 1% to SAR 45.45 after the company’s board approved a 2.5% dividend payout for H1 2023.
