SAMA’s assets drop to SAR 1.848 trln in December 2021

Assets held by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) saw a decrease of SAR 44.33 billion month-on-month (MoM) to SAR 1.848 trillion in December 2021, according to data released by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

 

When compared to December 2020, SAMA’s assets grew by SAR 1.91 billion.

SAMA’s investments in foreign securities, which account for 62% of its total assets, rose year-on-year (YoY) to around SAR 1.132 trillion last Decembe
