Taiba’s net profit rises 11% in 9M 2019

Taiba for Investment Co. reported a net profit of SAR 148.38 million for the first nine months of 2019, a 10.9 percent year-on-year increase.

The increase is attributed to higher return from short-term investments, lower Zakat expenses in addition to completing the acquisition of a non-controlling interest of Alaqeeq company and of Arac company, which resulted in increasing the net profit for the company’s shareholders.

 

The company reported a net profit of SAR 67.85 million for Q3 2019, a 12.9 percent year-on-year increase.

 

When compared to the previous quarter, net profit rose 37.8 percent due to revenue increase, and decrease in marketing and general and administrative expenses.
