Al Jouf Cement reported a net profit of SAR 72.07 million for fiscal year 2016, 5.6 percent lower year-on-year on cheaper average selling prices and higher fuel costs, despite an increase in sales quantities and other income as well as lower general & administrative expenses and Zakat expenses.

The company posted a net profit of SAR 9.67 million for Q4, 88 percent higher compared to the same quarter last year due to lower maintenance expenses and higher other income.

 

When compared to the previous quarter, Q4 net profit fell 35 percent mainly due to a decline in average selling prices and higher cost of sales.
