TASI rises 0.4% to 11,286, turnover at SAR 5.7 bln

Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 0.4%, or 42 points, higher at 11,286 points today, Aug. 9. 

   

Total turnover reached almost SAR 5.7 billion.   

Market Index

Al Rajhi Bank rose by more than 1% to SAR 72.10.

 

Arabian Pipes jumped 7% to SAR 65.90 after it signed a SAR 300 million contract with Saudi Aramco.

 

Gulf Union Alahlia closed almost limit up after Q2 2023 financial results were disclosed.

Meanwhile, Savola was the top decliner, falling 7% to SAR 36.65, as about three million shares were exchanged. The company's Q2 2023 profit declined by 38% year-on-year.

 

Saudi Electricity closed at SAR 21.16 (-2%) following the Q2 2023 financial results announcement.
