Saudi Arabia’s imports from GCC countries rose 15% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 6.78 billion in May, according to a recent report by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).
UAE accounted for 52%, or SAR 3.5 billion, of total Saudi imports, falling 15% YoY.
Compared with the previous month, the Kingdom’s imports from GCC surged 3%, or SAR 225.4 million.
