The Idle Lands Program announced the issuance of invoices for undeveloped land fees for the year 1444/1445 AH for the second round of first phase in Ahsa and Tabuk.
The program called on the landowners to pay the fee or reconstruct the land within a year from the date of issuance of the decision, according to the state-owned Saudi Press Agency.
Failure to pay the invoices within the set deadline will entail a fine that may amount to 100% of the fee value, in addition to the original fees, the program stated.
The program seeks to increase the real estate supply of developed lands and reduce monopoly by motivating the landowners to develop their lands within the grace period to benefit from the provided support mechanisms.
Over the past months, the program issued invoices for the seventh round in Riyadh, Dammam, and Jeddah. This is besides invoices for sixth round of first phase in Makkah, first round in Qassim region (Buraydah and Unayzah), and Hail.
