Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Ahmed Alrajhi, issued a ministerial resolution obligating private sector establishments with at least 50 employees to undertake cooperative training for students.

 

The move comes in accordance with the study plan approved by the educational institution to which the students belong as well as the requirements of the labor market.

 

In a statement, the ministry said the resolution aims to boost the quality and efficiency of training programs in private sector establishments, as well as sustain development and growth opportunities.

 

In addition, the resolution aims to enable university, college, and institute students by training them in private sector establishments. The move aims to qualify students for the labor market, as well as boost their performance and practical skills by providing them with the necessary knowledge and skills.

 

The decision was made in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, and the Human Resources Development Fund.
