Shams widens net loss to SAR 14.1 mln in H1 2021

Tourism Enterprise Co. (Shams) widened net loss after Zakat and tax of SAR 14.1 million for the first half of 2021, from SAR 4.7 million for the same period last year.

 

The increase in net loss is attributed to allocation of legal provisions of SAR 9.4 million and increase in general and administrative expenses.

 

The period also witnessed an increase of Zakat claim due to receiving Zakat adjustments for 2019 and 2020.
