Tourism Enterprise Co. (Shams) reported a net profit of SAR 3.1 million in the first half of 2023, up from SAR 156,000 in the year-ago period.

The profit was driven by an increase in other income, which resulted from investing the available cash, despite the SAR 4.5 million hike in the provisions for debit balances.

 

The company recorded a profit of SAR 1.01 million in Q2 2023, up from SAR 70,000 in the corresponding period of 2022.

 

Sequentially, the company’s net profit fell 50.6% from SAR 2.05 million in Q1 2023.
