Umm Al-Qura Cement Co. reported net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 117.7 million in 2020, a jump of 47%, from SAR 79.8 million in 2019.
This profit rise was driven by higher sales volumes and value, in addition to increased average selling prices.
The cement producer also cited higher other revenue and lower financing costs, despite higher selling and marketing, general and administrative expenses.
